VIDEO: Demand More: Community-Led Programs to Break the Cycle of Incarceration

Our country’s over-reliance on mass incarceration is a failed experiment that is not good for communities, families or public safety. It’s a problem that can, and must, urgently be addressed with effective community-led programs. Programs created and led by local residents and impacted individuals are more effective than top-down approaches, and Balestra Media teamed up with the Public Welfare Foundation to shine a spotlight on where they are succeeding, and how.
